The Day of the Dead
A4 size sketchbook scan. These pages are development of my final piece installation for my AS natural forms project. The installation is greatly inspired by nature and "The Day of the Dead". I explored how this day is a celebration for the deceased as their souls are believed to have moved on to a better place. The butterflies that are included in this piece are to symbolise the soul of the person moving on as they are seen flying away from the skull.
